Bart Deckers established Invale in October 2013. Prior to Invale he held various positions at Aveve and McKinsey & Company.

Bart is a seasoned investment professional with experience in general management and strategy consulting and a passion for entrepreneurship. Prior to establishing Invale, he was Business Unit Manager at Aveve, responsible for multiple subsidiaries, and strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company

Studies: Bio Engineer, holding a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from the KU Leuven and an MBA from Vlerick Business School

Michaël Blockx joined Invale in February 2023. Prior to Invale, he held various positions at Procter & Gamble, BCG, Delta Partners Capital, Roland Berger and Incofin Investment Management.

He has about 20 years of experience in investments and strategic advisory in international contexts. He has deep understanding of the TMT, banking, consumer goods and energy industries and a genuine interest in teaming up with entrepreneurs.

Alexandra Mannaerts joined Invale in April 2023. After a first professional experience at EY, she worked for almost 10 years at ING in various positions. The last 16 years she worked as a senior investment manager focusing on growth, buyout transactions and turnaround situations in medium-sized companies at LRM, an institutional investor. She is an experienced investment professional with a passion for entrepreneurship and finance.
